Plugins for your blog

Plugins are tools to extend the functionality of WordPress.  Plugins offer custom functions and features so that each user can tailor their site to their specific needs.

There are about 10,000 plugins. Some extend the photo gallery, others make writing easy, some do auto marketing, and some plugins even allow you to post content to blog directly from email.

Changing Theme of your Blog

We have added about 76 themes to our sio-india.com blog server. You can select any of them for your blog. If you need any other theme which is available on http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ then please tell us in the comments section of the page and we will make it available for you.

To change the theme you need to login to the backend of your blog from  the link yourblogname.sio-india.com/wp-admin

Moving blog from Blogspot to sio-india.com

So today I’m going to show you how to import your Blogger or Blogspot posts and pages into yourname.sio-india.com wordpress blog. This is how we moved from http://rafeeq-e-manzil.blogspot.com/ to http://rafeeq-e-manzil.sio-india.com/

1. Log in to your WP Dashboard

Like this – yourblogname.sio-india.com/wp-admin

Intro to SIO Blogs

Assalamulakum,

Alhamdullah we have launched sio-india.org blogs. Now zones, regions, units, and organisation organs can have their own blog on www.sio-india.org example www.karnataka.sio-india.com . Slowly we may allow individuals also to have their blogs on sio-india.com domain.

We just finished testing http://rafeeq-e-manzil.sio-india.com/ and alhamdullah it is working fine.
